Hedhyw y fynnir gorra’n chalenj a skrifa bardhonek ha ganso an thema a gowethas, gen imajweyth po tybyansow erel a-dhyworth payntyans gen Carrington ha payntyans gen Varo. 

Yth esov vy yn unn viajya y'n eur ma war-tu ha Kerdydh rag gweles lies kothman, ha nyns eus travyth gorwirra agesons… 

Today, we’d like to challenge you to write a poem themed around friendship, with imagery or other ideas taken from a painting by Carrington, and a painting by Varo.

I'm currently en route to Cardiff to see a number of friends, and there's nothing more surreal than them… 

Ow Kelwel

Difunewgh,
A dhrewydhyon eldrych
A'n tir, mor, ayr hag efanvos.
Omrydhhewgh
Agas honan dhymm
Usi a res, 
Yn homma, ow splanna our
A legryas ha tewolgow.
Fiewgh
Ra'gas kolmow
Ha kramya'n uskis
Dhe hemma, tour ow herensa diwovenek.
Unweyth arta yth omjunyn
Yn ankres kadonys
Dhe gona enevow marwel
Ha cider.


Calling

Awaken, 
Eldrich druids
Of land, sea, air and space.
Unleash
Yourselves unto me
Who has need, 
In this, my brightest hour
Of debauchery and darkness.
Escape
Your bounds
And crawl with haste
To this, my beacon of hopeless love.
Once again we shall join
In fetted unrest
To feast on mortal souls
And cider.
